The Neat Sheet and CRAVE Portland will present “Up in the Air” Summer Affair: The Neat Sheet Launch Party + Local Boutique Showcase to benefit Willamette Riverkeeper, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, July 9.

Take to the sky this July to party on the rooftop of Hotel deLuxe in downtown Portland, when The Neat Sheet (that’s us, folks) celebrates its official launch, taking pride in our new media endeavor and six months of hard work producing Portland’s only daily fashion + style news source. Together with the powerful marketing mavens of CRAVE Portland and 10 of Portland’s best boutiques, the evening will include a fashion show of summer styles on the rooftop runway, DJ and music, appetizers, cocktails from New Deal Vodka and Deco Distilling (with mixers provided by Vibe), beer from Kona Brewing and more neat stuff.

Alexis Del Cid of KOIN TV will emcee the event, which includes a summer fashion show of styles from local boutiques including Popina Swimwear, Mabel and Zora, Parallel, Physical Element, Idom, Moulé, Lizard Lounge, Solestruck, and Oh Baby. Attendees will also be able to buy raffle tickets to benefit Willamette Riverkeeper, and browse select local indie designer booths while shopping on site for local art, jewelry, body care and more.

Popina will be having a Swimwear Portland Fashion Show at Vinideaus a NE Portland Wine Bar on Fremont tonight @ 7pm!  There are a number of great reasons to go to this event tonight:

1) Vinideaus is an awesome wine bar.  The owner’s Dominique (a native of the South of France) and his American Wife Dianne have created a little slice of the South of France for us to enjoy in Portland.  Not a very easy thing to pull off but they have done so in a very organic way.

2) Vinideaus has A/C and Portland is projecting a record all high time temperature high of 108.  How about some refreshing chilled white wine?

3) Beautiful women wearing Popina Retro Swimwear Fashions.

4) There will be a belly dancing segment.

Back Fence PDXwill feature Portland’s Popina with a Retro Swimwear Fashion Show!  Back Fence PDX is the mastermind of B. Frayn Masters  and Melissa Lion  together they host a Portland Storytelling Show for Adults which features eight minute unscripted stories by all sorts of interesting people.

Back Fence PDX will be celebrating their 1st anniversary.  Popina was invited to the very first Back Fence Show one year ago so why not have us back to celebrate year 1! (great decision by Frayn and Melissa).

Last years fashion show was by far the most fun we have had with a fashion show, it included an impromptu q&a of the models and great commentary by the Back Fence Babes.

Show starts at 7:15pm this weeks theme……Caught Red-Handed, should be fun!

Portland Fashion Show for two designers and two Portland Boutique collections will be held this Friday May 29 at Cha Taqueria at 305 NW 21st at 7:00pm.

Designers include Lucia Apparel, Retro Swimwear by Popina and the Boutiques include Mabel and Zora and Haberdashers.  Reserve your table early we are expecting a packed house!
